Early Times Report
SAMBA, Nov 30: MLA Samba Mr Surjeet Singh Slathia today said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is committed to nation-building and fostering progress across all segments of society for realising the Viksit Bharat vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Laying foundation stone of the Over Head Tank (OHT) at Village Chak Medu Basotra Supwal in the Samba Assembly Constituency, Slathia, who is also the Pradesh BJP Vice President, while interacting with the locals, said under the decisive leadership of the Prime Minister, special impetus was given to implementation of various welfare programs and development of Jammu and Kashmir to make it equal partner of the country's growth story for continued five years post abrogation of Article 370.
"The holistic development in both the regions and their sub regions is discernible in every sector", Slathia said, hoping the new dispensation will carry forward the Prime Minister's mission and not betray the developmental trajectory of the region. The BJP will not allow derailing of the tempo of progress and development by keeping vigil on the governance, he said, adding that the people in particular want continuity in the holistic development of the Union Territory, guided by the principles of inclusivity, good governance, and empowerment of every section irrespective of region, religion or caste.
Slathia emphasized the BJP 's unwavering focus on implementing policies that prioritize national interests while addressing the aspirations of every citizen. He highlighted key achievements of the past five year's good governance, including major infrastructure projects, technological advancements, economic growth and efforts towards ensuring delivery.
"The BJP is not just a political party; it is a movement dedicated to the service of the nation. Our focus is on spreading up development, ensuring security, and safeguarding the dignity of every citizen," Slathia added.
