JAMMU, Dec 1: During a Satsang at Sungal Road, Akhnoor, Jammu, today, Sahib Bandgi’s Sadguru Shri Madhuparamhans Ji Maharaj shared profound insights with the devotees. He spoke about the evolution of spiritual guidance through Bhakti channels, recalling a time when 724 Mahatmas were actively featured on these channels. He noted that as the market for gurus declined, largely due to controversies surrounding some figures, the essence of true spiritual teachings was lost.
Sadguru Ji emphasized that the key to spiritual enlightenment lies in controlling the mind, an essential teaching from the Yoga Vashishtha, where Vashishtha Muni imparts to Lord Ram the importance of conquering the mind to attain the soul element. He observed that many contemporary spiritual leaders fail to address this core aspect of spiritual practice.
Sadguru Ji also discussed the significance of the secret name, which is said to be the only means of attaining the eternal realm of Amar Lok. This name, unlike any worldly name, is sacred and can only be imparted by a complete Guru. He explained that, although many names are chanted worldwide, salvation cannot be attained through these; only the true name—bestowed by the Sadguru—holds the power to guide souls to salvation.
Emphasizing that the mind is vast and powerful, Sadguru Ji highlighted that it is only through the power of the secret name that the mind can be subdued. This name is the key to transcending worldly struggles and attaining spiritual liberation.
