12/1/2024 10:45:59 PM

early times report

RAJOURI, Dec 1: The OMR based written examination for the post of Constable, conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), was held smoothly today across the designated centers in Rajouri district. The process was closely supervised by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Abhishek Sharma and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Gaurav Savarkar, to ensure a fair and transparent examination process.
A total of 16,000 candidates had registered for the examination, which was conducted at 39 centers spread across Rajouri, Nowshera, and Sunderbani towns. These locations were strategically selected to minimize inconvenience to the candidates.
DC and SSP conducted random inspections of several examination centers to oversee the arrangements and ensure adherence to all guidelines.
To ensure a smooth examination process, special arrangements were made, including the installation of signages near the centers to assist candidates. Adequate seating arrangements, uninterrupted power supply, and the presence of medical teams were ensured at all centers. Additionally, a comprehensive traffic management plan was implemented to avoid congestion near examination venues.
ADDC Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa, ADC Rajiv Khajuria and Flying squad teams conducted surprise checks to maintain discipline and ensure a fair examination environment.
Candidates appreciated the arrangements and expressed gratitude to the district administration for ensuring a seamless experience.
