DPS Udhampur hosted CBSE workshop on NEP 2020

JAMMU, Dec 2: Delhi PUBLIC School Udhampur organized CBSE one day capacity building Program on NEP 2020. to empower educators to provide valuable insight about the topic to enhance the teaching learning process. This CBP was a part of empowering teachers and teaching them hands on activities and case studies for better understanding of NEP 2020. Renowned CBSE resource person and Master Trainer, Ms. Rohini Aima Mam, Vice Chairperson cum Principal Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu and Ms. Puneet Kour, Principal APS Jammu conducted the workshop. The workshop begins with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the resource persons. Mr. Vivek Gupta MD DPS Udhampur presented a sapling to the resource persons and declared the event open.
This Workshop aimed to help participants to get deep understanding of NEP. The participants were made aware about the five guiding principles: Equity, Accountability, Affordability, Accessibility, Quality aimed to prepare educators to meet challenges of present and future. Threw light on new structure of 5+3+3+4 where students spend 5 years in foundation stage. Three years in the Middle stage and four years in the Secondary stage. 60 educators from Udhampur & Jammu schools participated in the workshop that was organized under the aegis of CBSE CoE Chandigarh.
Dr Kunal Anand Principal DPS Udhampur and District Training Coordinator CBSE CoE Chandigarh, thanked the both the resource persons and Centre for Excellence Chandigarh for giving an opportunity to DPSU to host such a workshop for the teachers of CBSE schools of Udhampur. He promised that DPSU will keep hosting such activities for teacher's empowerment
