| Sitting Congress MP lifts tune from Azad’s campaign song | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 3-Taking cue from the party high command who bought over copy rights of famous song 'Jai Ho' to launch party’s nationwide campaign sitting congress MP Madan Lal Sharma in Jammu has lifted the tune of famous Dogri song which was earlier used as campaign song for projecting Ghulam Nabi Azad as one of the most successful and progressive chief minister of the state of Jammu and Kashmir during Assembly elections. As election scene is hotting up in Jammu region local cable channels have already started playing campaign songs of contesting candidates. To beat the competition the sitting Congress MP instead of opting for fresh tune and new lyrics decided to resort to plagiarism. Interestingly, the video which is being played out on private channels is nothing but a repetition. Even the video clippings showcasing works undertaken by Ghulam Nabi Azad as chief minister have been credited to Madan Lal Sharma. A senior congress leader not happy with the trend said, "The campaign managers of the sitting congress MP have committed a blunder by deciding to spread the propaganda too far". "Every one is aware and know the limitations of the office of member Parliament but in the said campaign song it appears he has surpassed all such barriers and boundaries to ensure equitable development of all three regions of the state" the congress leader said.
