JAMMU, Dec 3: The Red Ribbon Club of Govt. Degree College Paloura organized a Reel Making Competition to observe World AIDS Day, under the guidance of Dr. Kulvinder Kour, Principal of the college. The theme for the competition was "My Health, My Right!", aiming to raise awareness about socially tabooed diseases like AIDS, particularly among the youth.
Reels have become a popular platform for creative expression, and the competition encouraged students to use this medium for awareness campaigns. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students across all semesters.
The competition was judged by Dr. Sapna Sharma, Prof. Pooja Sharma, and Dr. Shivani Sharma, based on relevance to the topic, creativity, and originality. The winners were:
1st Position: Vivank Verma
2nd Position: Kamaljeet Kour
3rd Position: Manpreet Kour
Dr. Kulvinder Kour, Principal of the college, praised the efforts of the organizers and appreciated the creative initiatives aimed at educating students about important social issues. |
