Jammu, Apr 3: National Service Scheme (NSS) of university of Jammu, organized a day long cleanliness camp at Bahu Fort, here today. About 35 volunteers from various colleges namely Trikuta College of Education, Trikuta Degree College, Govt. College of Education took part in the camp, and extended the cooperation in cleaning the premises of Bahu temple and adjoining areas on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navmi. Besides cleaning the area, volunteers also co-operated the security staff in maintaining the discipline and frisking the devotees. The police and local authorities applauded the role of NSS volunteers and shows their keen desire in taking help of NSS while maintain discipline on similar occasion. Large numbers of devotees were also impressed by this sanitation drive launched by the NSS and joined this pious effort of the volunteers in cleaning the premises. The one day camp was organized under the aegis of Dr. Jasbir Singh, Program Co-ordinator NSS, University of Jammu, Prof. Sanjeev Sharma, Program Officer, NSS, Trikuta College of Education, Prof. Kuldeep Singh, Program officer, NSS, Trikuta Degree College, Prof Vineet Dubey, Sunil Sharma and Rajeev Sharma led the contingent.
