UDHAMPUR, Dec 3: District Police Udhampur has detained two female terror associates under the Public Safety Act (PSA) for their involvement in aiding terrorist activities.
The detainees, identified as:
Maryama Begum (wife of Mohd. Shafeeq) from Loudhara, Basantgarh, and
Arshad Begum (wife of Late Jamal Din) from Rai Chak, Basantgarh, were found to be actively supporting terrorist organizations by providing logistics, acting as facilitators, and guiding terrorist groups.
Their actions were deemed a significant threat to public safety and state security. Authorities took preventive measures by ordering their detention under PSA to curb their involvement in activities detrimental to peace and stability.
District Police Udhampur remains committed to maintaining law and order and safeguarding the region against such threats.
