| JKP nabs drug peddler | | |  Early Times Report
SAMBA, Dec 3: Continuing its drive against drug smugglers/peddlers, J&K Police has arrested a drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur district Samba and recovered 3.20 grams approximately heroin like substance from his possession.
A Police party of Police Station Vijaypur headed by SHO PS Vijaypur during vehicle checking at NHW Naka AIIMS Vijaypur, intercepted a bike bearing registration No. JK21F-9412 for its checking. During checking, 3.20 grams approximately heroin like substance was recovered from the possession of said bike rider.
The arrested drug peddler has been identified as Vikas S/o Madan Singh R/o Katli Samba.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 153/2024 U/s 8/21/22/25 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Vijaypur. Further investigation of the case is going on. |
