Jammu, Apr 3: National Conference leader Shah Mohammad Tantrey appealed the people of district Poonch and Rajouri give their full co-operation and support to the common candidates of NC and Congress party in the forthcoming parliamentary elections.
In a press release he said that for the overall development of these districts it is necessary to strengthen the hands of Omar Abdullah’s coalition government which has already promised to fulfill their demands. He said that the steps included the promises re development of tourism, exploration of minerals, special attention towards development of agriculture and horticulture sector, speedening up construction of Mughal Road, approval to small Hydel projects, provision of cooking gas cylinders in at 100 rupees, Conducting of fresh BPL Survey, provision of one govt. job in each BPL house and special recruitment in Police and Para Military forces for under metric unemployed youths of distt. Poonch.
