RAMBAN, Dec 4: The Department of Commerce, Government Degree College, Ramban, on 4-12-2024 organized a comprehensive and interactive workshop on the "Basics of Stock Market", catering to the educational needs of its students. The workshop was coordinated by Prof. Arjun Gupta, Head of the Department of Commerce, who shared his expertise and provided valuable insights into the world of stock market. The workshop, held under the patronage of worthy Principal Prof. Archana Kaul, aimed to educate students about the fundamentals of the stock market, including the rules of identifying good quality stocks. Prof. Arjun Gupta's lecture was followed by an interactive session, where students enthusiastically participated and clarified their doubts. The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with students of the 1st semester, along with all faculty members, attending the workshop. The initiative is part of the college's endeavor to provide students with practical knowledge and skills in the field of commerce and finance. Principal Prof. Archana Kaul emphasized the importance of such workshops in enhancing the knowledge and skills of students. She applauded the efforts of the Department of Commerce in organizing the event and encouraged students to participate in such activities to gain a deeper understanding of the subject.
