JAMMU, Dec 4: Kushal Magotra, President of the Hotel & Restaurant Association, Patnitop, and Sanjay Gupta, a prominent businessman from Jammu with expertise in wood, real estate, and other ventures, have been appointed Co-Chairs of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) Jammu Region Chapter. The announcement was made by Hemant Jain, President of PHDCCI, following the recent appointment of Rakesh Wazir as Chair of the chapter.
Magotra's background in hospitality and Mr. Gupta's diverse business experience are expected to strengthen PHDCCI's mission of fostering economic growth and supporting the business community in the Jammu region.
Speaking on the occasion, Rakesh Wazir highlighted PHDCCI's legacy since its establishment in 1905 as one of India's most influential industry chambers. He emphasized its role in promoting entrepreneurship, trade, and tourism through advocacy, policy recommendations, and knowledge-sharing.
"With the addition of the new Co-Chairs, PHDCCI is set to focus on expanding opportunities for industries, tourism, and trade while addressing regional challenges. The chamber remains committed to driving sustainable development and economic progress in the Jammu region," Wazir remarked. |
