| ISM workshop held in AMS Zakura | | |
Srinagar, September 22 – A two-day training Workshop of ISM Practitioners was organized at Institute of Asian Medical Sciences, Zakura on September 19 and 20, 2006. The programme was attended by 20 Medical Officers of the Directorate of Indian Systems of Medicine, Jammu and Kashmir besides 20 students from the local ISM colleges. The programme is a part of the series of Awareness Programme Organized by J&K State Medicinal Plants Board under IEC scheme, sponsored by National Medicinal Plants Board, Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi.
The programme consisted of eight technical session delivered by Dr. Kanth, Dr. Farooq Naqshbandi, Mir Irshad and Dr Zahoor. The aim of such programme is to excel the skills of Medical Officers about the latest development and innovations in the field of AYUSH. |
