Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 3: Gardner of floriculture department, Som Raj was given affectionate farewell by the officers and officials of the department on his retirement from government service here today. Director floriculture Jammu, K.K. Sharma, speaking on the occasion highlighted the services rendered by Som Raj to the department. He said Som Raj is an example of punctuality, sincerity and devotion to duty. He wished him a happy and healthy post retirement life. The NMC Chief Subash Shastri addressing the fare well function said that minister for floriculture Sham Lal Sharma, principal secretary agriculture, Sonali Kumar and director floriculture Jammu K.K. Sharma are taking keen interest in development of gardens and parks to make Jammu city of temples, a city of flowers as well. Among others present on the occasion were M.S. Bali, Dy Director (Central) and other officers of the department, Raghupal, Mohd. Shafi, Kuldeep Sharma, Tarseem Lal Sharma, Madan Lal, Harbans Lal Mandi, Puran Chand, Tilak Raj, Kaku Ram, Raj Kumar and Assa Singh.
