"Good Bye Gala" bids farewell to Nursing Graduates at DBU

MANDI GOBINDGARH, Dec 5: The School of Nursing, Desh Bhagat University, hosted a heartfelt farewell party titled "Good Bye Gala" to bid adieu to the outgoing students of B.Sc Nursing IV year and M.Sc Nursing II year. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Dr. Zora Singh, Hon'ble Chancellor DBU, Dr. Tajinder Kaur, Hon'ble Pro-Chancellor DBU, Dr. Sandeep Singh, Worthy President DBU, Dr. Abhijit Joshi, Worthy Vice Chancellor DBU, Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice President DBU and Dr. Virender Singh, Advisor to the Chancellor DBU. Their presence elevated the significance of the occasion. The program commenced with a floral welcome of the dignitaries, followed by a ceremonial lamp-lighting and a heartfelt welcome speech by Prof. (Dr.) Lovesampuranjot Kaur. Dr. Zora Singh, in his address, inspired the graduating students to follow their dreams with passion and determination while upholding the values instilled by the university. His words of encouragement left an indelible mark on the audience. The highlight of the evening was the much-anticipated announcement of titles, which added excitement and joy to the celebration: Rizwan and Iqra got the titles of Mr. Farewell and Miss Farewell respectively. Also Wasim and Moziba got titles of Mr. Personality and Miss Personality, Ashu was given titles of Ms. Charming and Simranjeet Kaur Ms. Beautiful Attire (Farewell). The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and a nostalgic photo session, allowing everyone to capture the joy and sentiment of the occasion.
