GLDM GDC Hiranagar organises Career Counseling Session

JAMMU, Dec 5: A career counseling session was successfully conducted at GLDM Government Degree College Hiranagar, under the visionary leadership of Dr. Pragya Khanna, Principal of the College. The event, aimed at guiding students toward diverse career options, was organized with the valuable support of the NSS Program Officer, Prof. Shapia Shameem, and NSS Advisory Member Prof. Rakesh Sharma. Prof. Rajni, and Prof. Ganga. Prof. Anupama also played a key role in ensuring the program's success.
The session featured Lieutenant Ajinkya and his team from the Indian Army's 31 Punjab Unit, who served as the resource persons for the event. They provided the students with detailed insights into various schemes and career opportunities available for women in the Indian Army. The team discussed the growing presence and support for women in the armed forces, emphasizing the increasing roles they can take on, and the myriad of opportunities for empowerment and career growth.
The event proved to be both highly informative and motivational, inspiring students to consider a career in the Indian Army, particularly women who are encouraged to explore these avenues. The guidance provided by the army officers offered students a unique perspective on serving the nation while also building fulfilling and rewarding careers.
