BJP govt boosts solar energy revolution with PM Surya Ghar Yojana: Rohiin Chandan

JAMMU, Dec 5: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) District Secretary and Media Prabhari Jammu South, Rohiin Chandan, has highlighted the BJP government's efforts to promote the generation of electricity from solar energy through the PM Surya Ghar Yojana. This initiative aims to provide a sustainable and environmentally friendly source of energy while also ensuring financial security for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Rohiin Chandan, the "PM Surya Ghar Yojana" offers numerous benefits to households, including significant savings on electricity bills and the opportunity to earn extra income by selling surplus power generated by their rooftop solar systems. The scheme provides subsidies to households to install rooftop solar panels, with the goal of lighting up 1 crore households and providing up to 300 units of free electricity every month.
In order to further sustainable development and people's wellbeing, Chandan elaborates that PM Modi launched the PM Surya Ghar, known as the Muft Bijli Yojana. This project, with an investment of over Rs. 75,000 crores, aims to light up 1 crore households by providing up to 300 units of free electricity every month. He stated that let's boost solar power and sustainable progress. I urge all residential consumers of J&K, especially youngsters, to strengthen the PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana by applying at pmsuryaghar.gov.in".
Rohiin Chandan praised the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership for giving top priority to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized that the "PM Surya Ghar Yojana" is a testament to the government's commitment to promoting sustainable development and people's well-being.
Rohiin highlights key benefits of PM Surya Ghar Yojana. He said households can receive up to 300 units of free electricity every month. The government provides subsidies to households to install rooftop solar panels, and households can earn extra income by selling surplus power generated by their rooftop solar systems. He emphasized that the scheme promotes the use of renewable energy, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and mitigating climate change.
The PM Surya Ghar Yojana is a significant step towards promoting sustainable energy and reducing carbon emissions. With its numerous benefits and subsidies, the scheme is expected to transform the energy landscape of India and improve the lives of its citizens, he said.
