| Sharma demands strengthening of security network | | |

Jammu, Apr 3: Strengthening of security network in hilly areas of districts of Rajouri and Poonch in general and Taryath area in particular, has been demanded by former legislator Ashok Sharma. He was expressing shock over the unfortunate militant attack at Bai-Nalla Taryath, killing political worker Mohd. Ashraf and injuring his two brothers Mohd Parvez and Mohd Mukhtar yesterday late evening.
Sharma has urged upon the union and state governments and the election commission of India to ensure adequate security to the people and political workers during elections.
He re-treated the demand of restoration of all the lifted security pickets from the hilly and militancy prone areas.
Among others who joined the statement included, Hans Raj, Ashok Bajal, Bansi Lal, Ab Khaliq, Munshi Khan, Raj Kumar, Sat Paul, Liquat Ali and Som Raj.
