BISHNAH, Dec 7: The Career Counseling Cell and NSS Wing of Government Degree College (GDC) Bishnah conducted a special counseling session on Army recruitment schemes such as NDA, CDS, and Agniveer. Major Rohit, a medical officer in the Indian Army, was the resource person for the event. During the session, Major Rohit provided detailed guidance on how to join the Army, explaining the required qualifications and percentage criteria. He also discussed the recent changes in the Army's recruitment process and highlighted various aspects of Army life, inspiring students to consider a career in the armed forces. An interactive session followed the lecture, allowing students to clear their doubts and gain clarity on various issues related to recruitment and career opportunities in the Army. The event began with a welcome address by Dr. Geeta Lakhotra, while Dr. Sapna Bhargav extended a vote of thanks to the dignitaries. The program was organized under the patronage of the college Principal, Dr. Shallu Samyal, and was well-received by the students. |
