Dogra Sadar Sabha celebrates foundation day

Jammu, Apr 4: In connection with the celebrations of 106th Foundation Day of Dogra Sadar Sabha and 142nd Birth Anniversary of Sher-e-Duggar Lala Hans Raj Mahajan, a function of Dogra Sadar Sabha J&K was held under the chairmanship of its president, Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak, here today. The function attended by Dogra elite, Sabha workers and public of the region. And paid homage to Sher-e-Duggar Lala Hans Raj Mahajan and other founder members of the Sabha for their dedicated services for the cause of the public and Nation.
Charak while highlighting the achievements of Sabha fully supported, maintenance of peace and communal harmony and would carry out all its efforts in the cause of the country by following the footsteps of their forefathers. For addressal of numerous problems especially inclusion of Dogri Language and renovation of old heritage Mubarak Mandi Complex. He also thanked the participants for their valuable suggestions and assured the public that Dogra Sadar being the oldest organization of the region has been carrying out numerous munificent works for the welfare of the public and would intensify their efforts for the addressal of their pending problems.
K.P. Singh, Dev Raj Baru, Capt. Narayan Singh, Prof. Zahur-ud-din, Chajju Ram Bhagat and Ravi Kant also spoke on the occasion and demanded that special recruitment drive need be carried out in the region for Kandl border areas.
Struggle for implementation of Re-delimitation of Parliamentary/Assembly Constituencies in the State be carried out.
Steps be taken for the provision of sufficient irrigation water through irrigation channels in the border belt of Jammu District.
Development works in the region with an eye on pilgrimage / tourists spot to attract the visitors be got ensured and Dogra Domicile certificate be got issued to benefit recruitment of youth in Military/ Paramilitary forces.
