| Rubiya Sayed kidnapping case | | TADA Court reserves order on transfer applications | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 4- The Presiding Officer TADA Court Jammu today reserved the order on transfer of cases relating to kidnapping of Dr. Rubiya Sayed and killing of five Air Force personnel from Jammu Court to TADA Court Srinagar for further hearing. Presiding Officer after hearing both the sides reserved order on the transfer applications. JKLF Supremo Yaseen Malik, Showkat Ahmed Bakshi, Javid Mir alias Nalka, Manzoor Ahmed Sofi, Iqbal Gandroo, Javid Zargar were present in the court whereas Mohammed Rafiq alias Nana ji was produced from the Udhampur Jail in custody and Mehraj-ud-Din, was exempted from appearance today. It is worthwhile to mention here that Dr. Rubiya Syed daughter of then Union Home Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayed, while coming from hospital in the month of December, 1989 was kidnapped by alleged accused persons and demanded release of five hardcore militants of JKLF. She was later released by the kidnappers on the release of five hardcore militants of JKLF. The accused are also facing trial in a case of killing five air-force officials in the month of January 1990 while they were waiting for their Air-Force bus at Batmaloo, Srinagar. Both the cases were investigated by the Country’s Prime Investigating Agency CBI which presented challan in the Court of TADA and was pending for framing charges for the last more than 17 years. JNF
