| NC-Congress to work in unison for peace, development of J&K: Aijaz Jan | | | Early Times Report
Poonch Apr 4- Giving a clarion call to the party rank and file to gear up for the Parliamentary elections, Aijaz Ahmed Jan, MLA Poonch has asked the party workers to work unitedly at the very grass root level in unison with the coalition partner Congress and ensure the victory of the NC-Congress collation partners during the forthcoming Parliamentary Elections.
Jan, who was addressing series of workers meetings at Mandi and Poonch called upon party rank and file to work unitedly in unison with the coalition partner and appealed the people in general to caste their votes in favour of Madan Lal Sharma, NC-Congress coalition candidate from Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency.
He said the coalition government is bound by a common ideological thread of working together to shape a glorious destiny for the people of the state and are committed to bring peace harmony and development to entire Jammu and Kashmir and the NC-Congress coalition government is working in right earnest for the welfare of the people of the state.
He cautioned the people to beware of the false propaganda unleashed by PDP and BJP, who, he said, stand exposed before the masses and have no program and policy for the people of the state other than to create wedge among the people.
He said National Conference is committed to fulfill all the promises which it has made with the people of the state during elections and will never betray the people of the state.
Later he also addressed a joint meeting of NC and Congress leaders wherein District Presidents, Block President of both NC and Congress, besides prominent leaders including Jahangir Mir and others were present
