Indian Army organised lecture on Women Empowerment

Rajouri, Dec 12: The Indian Army, in its continuous efforts to foster gender equality and empower women, conducted an enlightening lecture on women empowerment at the Government Middle School, Dhar. The event witnessed overwhelming participation from military personnel, students, teachers, and civilians. The lecture was a significant step towards promoting awareness about the pivotal role women play in the defence forces and in broader societal development. An interactive session followed, where attendees engaged in meaningful dialogues, exploring various aspects of women’s empowerment within both the military and civilian sectors. The lecture is part of a broader initiative by the Indian Army to integrate gender perspectives into its operational and strategic frameworks. The Indian Army remains steadfast in its resolve to champion the cause of women empowerment, recognizing it as a cornerstone for building a robust, inclusive, and progressive nation. A total of 25 students, 7 ladies, 4 gents, and 4 senior citizens attended the event.
