University of Jammu organizes Inter-Collegiate Yoga Championship

JAMMU, Dec 12: The Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, commenced the Inter-Collegiate Yoga (Men & Women) Championship 2024-25 on 12th December 2024 at the University of Jammu.
Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion of the Yoga (Men) Competition 2024-25, in the presence of Dr. Mandeep Singh, Vimal Kishore, Vikas Karlopia, Gagan Kumar, Jai Bharat, Dr. Inderjeet Singh, Richa Mandla, Manjeet Kotwal, Vandna Sharma and and various officials and participants from the affiliated colleges of the University of Jammu.
The event was marked by intense competition and high levels of performance, showcasing the growing interest in yoga and physical wellness among students. The Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu, expressed its gratitude to all participants, officials, and spectators who made this event a success.

1st Position: PG Department, University of Jammu, 2nd Position: Government Degree College (GDC), Paloura and 3rd Position: Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research, Nardani, Jammu
Yoga Individual (M) Results:
1st Position: Sahil, GDC, Paloura, 2nd Position: Amandeep, PG Department, University of Jammu and 3rd Position: Dushyant, MIET, Jammu & Prince Sharma, PG Department, University of Jammu respectively.
