Six accused nabbed in attempted murder case; weapon, vehicle recovered

JAMMU, Dec 12: In a significant breakthrough, Jammu Police have apprehended six accused involved in an attempted murder case in which one of the accused person fired with desi katta on victim with the intention to kill him at Ring Road Kunjwani in the JD of PS Bishnah. The victim was thrown by the accused persons after firing on him with Desi Katta from the Ring road Kunjwani over the height of 50-60 Ft and fleas from the spot. thereafter local peoples shifted the victim in injured condition at SDH Bishanh for treatment.
Following the registration of FIR Number 207 /24 under Sections 109, 115(2), 191(2) BNS and 4/25 of the Arms Act in Police Station Bishanh, a specialized and dedicated team of officers/officials led by SHO PS Bishnah under the Supervision of SDPO RS Pura and SP HQ Jmu conducted multiple raids. Their efforts led to the arrest of all six accused persons.
During interrogation, the suspects confessed to their involvement in the crime. Based on their disclosure, weapon i.e toka was recovered. Additionally, the vehicle used during the crime Swift car bearing registration number JK02DL 6601 was seized.
The case remains under active investigation as police work to gather more evidence and determine the motive behind the attack.
