JAMMU, Dec 12: DIG Jammu-Kashmir Range Sh. Shiv Kumar IPS, along with SSP Jammu Joginder Singh JKPS, SP North Vivek Shekhar, SP Operations Kameshwar Puri, SDPO City Devinder Singh, and other senior officers, conducted a comprehensive security review across various areas of Jammu city, including Link Road, Parade, Raghunath Bazar, Gumat Market, Hari Market, Jewel Chowk, and Nobawad.
During the visit, DIG Shiv Kumar was briefed on the detailed security arrangements by SSP Joginder Singh, SP North Vivek Shekhar, and SP Ops Kameshwar Puri. The team reviewed lane-by-lane security, hotels, and busy commercial hubs, ensuring robust policing measures.
The officers also engaged with members of local market associations and urged the general public to stay vigilant. They encouraged citizens to report any suspicious activities or individuals to the nearest police post or station, reinforcing community cooperation for enhanced safety. |
