Awareness Programme held at Gandhi Memorial Academy Dassal

DASSAL, Dec 13: A one-day awareness programme on fostering intergenerational bonding was successfully organized at Gandhi Memorial Academy, Dassal, on December 12, 2024. The event, hosted by the Human Organisation for Patronisation of Environment (HOPE), was supported by the National Institute of Social Defence under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
The programme aimed to enhance understanding, respect, and emotional connections between senior citizens and the younger generation. Distinguished speakers, including Eng. Nadeem Mirza, Minkle Kumar, Savita Sharma, and Principal Sunil Sharma, delivered insightful sessions highlighting the significance of intergenerational relationships in creating a harmonious society.
Over 100 participants actively engaged in the event and were awarded medals as a token of appreciation for their enthusiasm. Trophies were presented to the top three participants for their exceptional contributions. Principal Sunil Sharma was honored by HOPE for his outstanding leadership and support in ensuring the programme's success.
The event concluded with participants taking a pledge to uphold the dignity of senior citizens and nurture harmony among generations, leaving a lasting impact on all attendees.
