Govt College for Bhagwati Nagar organizes Nasha Mukt Rally

JAMMU, Dec 13: In a significant effort to combat substance abuse, the Government College for Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu, organized a Nasha Mukt Rally under the guidance of Dr. Meeru Abrol, Principal of the college. The rally aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of drug and alcohol addiction, fostering a call for a healthier, addiction-free society.
Led by Dr. Kamal Deep Singh, Convenor of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Committee, the event saw active participation from students, faculty members, and the community. Participants marched through the campus and surrounding areas, carrying banners and placards with impactful messages such as "Say No to Drugs," "Nasha Mukt Bharat," and "Live Clean, Stay Green."
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Meeru Abrol highlighted the societal impact of drug abuse, stating, "Drug abuse undermines the health, security, and dignity of individuals. It is our collective responsibility to confront this challenge and work toward a safer, healthier future."
The rally also encouraged embracing healthier lifestyles by promoting activities that enhance physical and mental well-being. Dr. Kamal Deep Singh expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and reaffirmed the college's commitment to raising awareness and taking proactive steps against substance abuse.
