J&K BOPEE organise awareness camps at Paddar, Chatroo

KISHTWAR, Dec 13: J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations under the aegis of ARI & Training Department organized Awareness Programmes/Camps in District Kishtwar.
Two Awareness Programmes/Camps were organised at Degree College Paddar and Dak Banglow, Chatroo.
The objective of conducting these awareness programmes/camps was to generate awareness among general public, students/ PRIs about the different Professional Courses whose exams and counselling is being conducted by JKBOPEE during the session 2025-2026.
During these Awareness Programmes/Camps, the major thrust was for awareness about admission to various Engineering Courses, AYUSH Courses, Medical Courses and Paramedical Courses based on 10th and 12th qualification, ANM/GNM, B. Pharmacy/D. Pharmacy, B. Architecture and B.Ed etc.
The Awareness Programmes/Camps were organized under overall supervision of ARI & Training Department and in coordination with Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Rajesh Kumar Shavan with the assistance of PRIs, Educational Institutions, NGOs and other stakeholders.
The J&K BOPEE designated Nodal Officer Dr. Shabir Hussain Keen the Secretary BOPEE and was accompanied by Zakir Hussain Khan, Section Officer.
Dr. Keen gave detailed information about the number of courses, colleges and procedures for admissions in all professional streams and colleges at both locations.
The detailed tentative scheduled viz. name of course, intake, qualification, duration of the course, online registration date, entrance exam date and total Colleges/Institutions (Govt. & Private) for 2025-26 session in the shape of booklets were distributed among the participants on spot.
At Paddar, Asha workers, Anganwari workers and other field functionaries were also aware about courses and were shouldered with responsibilities for dissemination to the general public.
The designated Nodal Officer of District Administration CMO Kishtwar, Dr. Rajinder Kumar, SDM Chatroo Naeem ur Rehman, Dr. Sajjad Ahmad (Nodal Officer),BMO Paddar Dr. Anil Sharma, BMO Chatroo Dr. Saima Kripak, BDO Chatroo, Tehsildar Chatroo among others also participated in Camp and assisted in awareness.
Deputy Commissioner, who closely monitored both awareness camps and ensured that third main awareness camp will be held on 19th December, 2024 at district headquarters Kishtwar alongwith other Departments.
