This step aims to enhance the water supply infrastructure and promote public health in the district.
The ADC also reviewed the progress of key projects, including the establishment of a Modern Slaughter House, Cattle Pond, and Waste Plastic Management system in the district. Furthermore, the Divisional Forest Officers (DFO) Kishtwar and Marwah were asked to provide comprehensive details of various activities being undertaken under the Bio-Diversity Management Plan in the district. This plan seeks to preserve and promote ecological balance and protect the district's unique biodiversity.
The meeting emphasized the need for collaborative efforts among various departments to address pressing environmental concerns. The members also discussed strategies for enhancing waste management, afforestation drives and public awareness campaigns to foster environmental conservation.
