12/14/2024 10:01:44 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Dec 14: Asserting the National Conference’s unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President JKNC, criticized the BJP-led government for its anti-youth policies during the past decade in Jammu and Kashmir.
He was addressing a function held at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, Jammu, where several youth joined the party under the leadership of Tejinder Pal Singh Aman, District President Jammu Urban JKNC Youth.
Welcoming the new entrants, Rattan Lal Gupta said, “Unemployment in J&K has reached an all-time high, leaving the youth frustrated. The BJP's decade-long rule in J&K has pushed the youth into a vicious cycle of hopelessness, with recruitment scams and widespread corruption further victimizing them.”
Highlighting the National Conference’s legacy of prioritizing youth welfare, Rattan Lal Gupta emphasized that the NC government, under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, has launched numerous initiatives to create employment opportunities and promote skill development. “The NC government is committed to restoring the dignity and aspirations of the youth and ensuring a corruption-free system where merit is respected,” he added.
Rattan Lal Gupta asserted that the NC government is committed to filling all vacant posts on a fast-track basis, ensuring transparency and fairness in the recruitment process. He emphasized that addressing unemployment and providing opportunities to the youth will be a top priority for the party to restore their trust and aspirations.
Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, Provincial Secretary JKNC, also addressed the gathering and encouraged the newly joined members to work tirelessly to strengthen the party at the grassroots level. Tejinder Pal Singh Aman, District President Jammu Urban JKNC Youth, expressed gratitude to the Provincial leadership for supporting youth-centric initiatives and fostering an inclusive environment within the party. He assured that the youth wing would continue to strive towards strengthening the party base and addressing the pressing concerns of young people across the region.
The event concluded with the Provincial President reiterating the National Conference’s resolve to uphold the interests of the youth and to work relentlessly for a prosperous and progressive Jammu and Kashmir.
