Felicitation Ceremony and Key Meeting of J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides

Jammu, Dec 14 : The Jammu and Kashmir Bharat Scouts and Guides (J&K BS&G) organized a Felicitation Ceremony and Key Official/Office Bearer Meeting on December 14, 2024, to honor S. Rajinder Singh Tara, JKAS, Director General of Youth Services and Sports, who was appointed as the State Chief Commissioner of J&K BS&G.
The ceremony, held in a grand manner, was graced by distinguished guests, including Shri I. D. Soni, Ex-State Commissioner (S), J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides; Prof. Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Nikka, Senior Vice President; Sh. Ashok Kumar, Vice President; Mr. Sohail Kazmi, Advisor J&K BS&G; Sh. M.M. Joshi, State Commissioner (AR(S)); Mtr. Gulshan Ara, State Commissioner AR(G); Sh. G.A. Parray, State Commissioner (S); Mtr. Nasreen Khan, State Secretary cum Administrative Officer; Mtr. Hafeeza Hasan, State Commissioner Bulbul; and Dr. Renu Nanda, State Commissioner (Ranger), among others. The ceremony saw active participation from all dignitaries, who shared motivational and impactful messages with the attendees, inspiring the members to continue their contributions to the Scouts and Guides movement.
The ceremony’s success was attributed to Mtr. Nasreen Khan, State Secretary cum Administrative Officer, for her efforts in bringing the event to fruition.
The Chief Guest, S. Rajinder Singh Tara, expressed his appreciation for the ongoing efforts to spread the message of the noble movement throughout the UT, emphasizing the cultivation of values such as commitment, character, and cheerfulness among young Scouts and Guides.
In her welcome address, Mtr. Nasreen Khan thanked the attendees for their presence and support. Prof. Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Nikka, Senior Vice President, J&K BS&G, commended the contributions of the State Headquarters. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Dr. Renu Nanda, State Commissioner (Ranger).
