| SP kicks off poll campaigning in Bhaderwah assembly segment | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 5: Kicking off poll campaign in favour of party candidates from Bhaderwah assembly constituency and Kathua, Udhampur Lok Sabha constituency, the Samajwadi party, president, Sheikh Abdul Rehman, along with the team of state office bearers held series of public meetings in Bhaderwah and District in Udhampur today. Addressing gathering at Bhaderwah in favour of his party candidate Rehman said that no doubt Ghulam Nabi Azad, being son of the soil, was voted to power by the masses of his native constituency on the promise of all round development but the real development is not al visible on the ground. Rehman on the occasion urged upon the masses to learn the lesson from Jharkhand where very recently founder of the Jharkhand State Shibu Soren the then chief minister of the state, seeking mandate, was defeated at the hands of a young man. This is a living example of the awareness of the electorates of the present day democrative system in that area. He called upon the people to vote on the basis of dedication, sincerity and honesty of the candidates instead of failing prey to the temptation and false allurement and hollow promises of the spent forces of ruling political parties. Addressing the public, Col. Rtd. Bahadur Singh Chowdhary Senior vice president, Fayaz Ahmed Bhat and Ram Singh Chowhan, gen. secretary, Amrit Varsha president Mahila Wing and Sham Lal Masha cautioned the people against communal provocative speeches of BJP and PDP leaders exhorted upon the people to vote in favour of candidates and teach a lesson to the most corrupt biased and inaccessible leaders of Congress, BJP and the like party candidates. They also asked the sitting. MP Lal Singh Chowdhary about his contribution in the districts of Ramban, Doda and Kishtwar out of his constituency development funds during the last five years. The meeting was also addressed by Sh. Mohd. Shafi Sheikh Candidate for Bhaderwah assembly constituency, Kewal Singh Manhas and other prominent local workers.
