RAJOURI, Dec 14: The Indian Army organized a vibrant and fun-filled winter event for children at Government High School, Hatta Seri, Gambhir Mughlan. The event witnessed a massive turnout of 220 children, 10 teachers, 4 personnel from the J&K Police SOG, and 15 personnel from the Peda Gali Coy, showcasing the enthusiasm and support of the local community towards the Indian Army in the area. It also highlighted the synergy between the Indian Army and police.
This initiative aimed to foster camaraderie, sportsmanship, and joyful engagement among young students. The event began with a warm welcome note from the high school headmaster, Naseemullah, and featured an array of games and activities, including volleyball, kho-kho for girls, the ever-entertaining lemon-and-spoon race, and the lively jalebi race, which brought cheers and excitement from participants and spectators alike. Children participated enthusiastically, showcasing their skills and enjoying a day filled with fun and laughter.
The Indian Army's efforts to organise such interactive events underscore their commitment to community outreach and fostering positive relationships with the local populace. The activities not only provided a refreshing break for the children but also promoted team spirit, coordination, and healthy competition. The event concluded on a high note, leaving lasting smiles and cherished memories for all involved.
