JAMMU, Dec 14: The J&K Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) successfully concluded its much-anticipated Certification Course on Goods and Services Tax (GST) today. The program saw active participation from over 50 members, highlighting the growing interest of professionals in mastering the intricacies of GST.
The course was meticulously designed to provide a thorough understanding of GST, covering its inception, constitutional provisions, and practical aspects. Key topics included time and place of supply, input tax credit, GST implications on imports and exports, e-way bills, e-invoicing, audits by tax authorities, refunds, inspections, search and seizure processes, appeals and revisions, and annual returns. It also featured discussions on contemporary challenges, case studies, and recent judicial announcements.
Participants appreciated the course for its practical orientation and relevance to real-world applications. Expert faculty shared insights into the complexities of GST, equipping attendees with the skills to effectively navigate this dynamic field.
