Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 14: In a continued effort to curb the sale of illicit liquor, Jammu Police arrested a bootlegger and seized 40 bottles of illicit liquor in the jurisdiction of BPP Sandwan. A police team from BPP Sandwan, led by its Incharge, apprehended Daulat Ram, son of Harjit Raj, a resident of Makwal Jammu. The police recovered 40 bottles of JK Desi Whisky (180 ml each) from his possession. A case under the relevant sections of the Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Domana, and the investigation is underway. The public has lauded the police for their decisive action in tackling bootlegging. |
