| Work to start on Rs.60 lakh Damhal Hanjipora-Chimber Road project very soon: Zargar | | | SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 22 – Work on Rs. 60 lakh project for renovation of Damhal Hanjipora climber 11 km long road will be started by October this year. This was stated by Minister for Agriculture and Co-operative Mr. Abdul Aziz Zargar during second day of his 3-day extensive tour to various areas of Noorabad constituency today. He said that projects for other roads have also been formulated and work has already been started on some projects to improve the road connectivity facilities in these far-off areas. The Minister today visited Nehama, Baghbal, Kouserbal, Nazam, Drazdan, Danow kandi Margh and climber. He interacted with the locals and sought apprisal of the problems confronting them. He assured the people that the concerned authorities would be given strict instructions to take measures for immediate redressal of their problems. He said the officers and field functionaries have been asked to reach out to the common masses and mitigate their problems and ensure dispensation of speedy justice to them. Referring to the dearth of Medical staff in the hospitals of Noorabad Mr. Zargar said that the matter has already been taken up with health authorities who have assured deployment of sufficient staff in the hospitals of the area. Mr. Zargar also took stock of the availability of food grains in the area and directed for streamlining the stock and supply position of edibles in the area. During his tour Mr. Zargar also reviewed the pace of progress on some ongoing works in Noorabad constituency and asked the concerned agencies to expedite the work on these projects.
