| Madan criticizes BJP for exploiting people on religious issues | | |

Jammu, April 05- The Congress- NC alliance candidate from Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constitute Madan Lal Sharma while addressing series of election meetings at Durga Nagar, India Chowk and Pamposh colony Janipur has strongly criticized the BJP of exploiting the people on religious issues.
Attacking BJP, Sharma said that it has no agenda for the welfare of people but to exploit the religious sentiments of the people to get in power. In this regard he quoted that this party promised to the people that Ram Mandir will be constructed at Ayodhya, if they come in power at the time of elections held earlier but the people understood their game plan when the Mandir was not constructed but only remained in slogans with the result that this party was ousted from power and UPA government won the election. Recently again they have announced in the supplementary manifesto that construction of Ram Mandir will be their priority if voted to power, he added.
He said that it is only the Congress party which is the savior of the people and has come up to the expectations of the people and listed the achievements of the Congress led government during the period Azad remained in power here.
He also gave a detailed account of the works undertaken by him as MP which included construction of second bridge at river Chenab at Akhnoor which was the long pending demand of the people, besides getting several projects sanctioned from the Centre .He appealed the electorate to come out in large numbers and ensure his victory with huge margin.
Raman Bhalla-MLA Gandhi Nagar, Bimla Luthra-MLA National Conference and Surinder Singh Shangari were among others who addressed these gatherings and appealed the electorate to vote for alliance candidate.
