| Lal Singh lashes out JKNPP, BJP for their double standards | | | Early Times Report Basantgarh, April 05- Chaudhary Lal Singh Congress-National Conference coalition candidate for 5-Udhampur parliamentary constituency addressed a series of meetings in Ramnagar and Doda assembly segments and lashed out at BJP and Panthers Party for their opportunism and double standard of politics. Singh exposed the politics of opportunistic and double standards of both BJP and Panther Party who gave choicest of abuses to the PDP a few months back but joined hands during the recent Legislative Council election, while Panthers party aligned with PDP in Rajya Sabha elections. The Panthers party indulged in policies of blackmail and came out of the Congress led coalition government solely on the ground of PDP being part of the coalition. He questioned as to what were considerations for panthers party to join hand with same PDP. Not only this, the BJP also voted along with PDP in the Legislative Council Elections. He said that no one opposed the religious sentiments of the people during Amarnath issue and even Muslims and Sikhs extended support but BJP leaders and their sister organizations spread hatred on one part and PDP the other part which posed threat to the social and secular fabric of the state. He referred to his role for the resolution of the issue as per religious sentiments of the people and said that he always fought for the cause and development of his Lok Sabha constituency irrespective of any caste, creed or color. Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma-MLA Congress and Sajjad Kichloo-MLA National Conference also addressed the meetings and lashed out at opposition and criticized their politics of division and hate which has no place in the secular society and the people will reject such politics, they added. Vinod Khajuria who recently joined Congress from BSP in Ramnagar constituency, Thakur Dass-President BCC Basantgarh, Molvi Mustaq and Block President NC Saifuddin and President Ramnagar NC Subash Kudiyar also addressed the gatherings
