Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 18: A 25-member delegation from Jammu and Kashmir, including students from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu, embarked on the Yuva Sangam cultural exchange journey to Chennai under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative. The group was flagged off by Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, from Jammu Tawi Railway Station. The Yuva Sangam program aims to foster cultural exchange, national integration, and mutual understanding among youth from diverse regions of India. Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, Prof. Sahay highlighted the importance of such initiatives in promoting India's unity in diversity and providing students with transformative experiences. Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean Academics at IIM Jammu, emphasized the program's role in nurturing leadership skills and broadening participants' worldviews. Dr. Ashish Kumar, Nodal Officer, Yuva Sangam, and Dr. Manu Bansal, faculty at IIM Jammu, were also present at the event. The delegation, led by IIM Jammu faculty members Dr. Harsha Jariwala and Dr. Jagannath G., received Yuva Sangam merchandise featuring the logos of IIM Jammu and NITTTR. The journey reflects IIM Jammu's commitment to holistic learning and cultural understanding.
