| | Rehman appeal refugees vote en-mass for Labha Ram | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 6: The all parties people’s front, comprising of 11-constituents in the state, kicked off its poll campaign from Swankha, VIjaypur, in favour of its candidate Labha Ram Gandhi addressing the public meeting, the Chief Patron Sheikh Abdul Rehman ex. MP. And president J&K Samajwadi party said that it is unfortunate that none of the MP’s elected to Lok Sabha so far from Jammu Poonch Lok Sabha constituency, have not raised the issues of Public interests of the people in the Lok Sabha and have si8mply enjoued he privileges of the member of the Parliament. Rehman added that there has been blatant misuse of constituency development fund which have been used keeping in view the party considerations and loyality of the party workers. He wondered that non settlement of long pending problems of 1947, PAK and West Pakistan Refugees, is a slur on the face of biggest democracy of the worlds, which has been denied the basic needs and fundamental rights, and held congress BJP and NC responsible for the 60 year’s perpetual miseries and hardships of the lakhs of refugees, because these parties have ruled the state as also the Centre during last 60 years. Rehman appealed the People in general and refugees in Particular to Vote for the consensus candidate of 11- Constituents- Labha Ram Gandhi so that the miseries of the common man are voiced in the Lok Sabha. Addressing the gathering, Labha Ram Gandhi said that none of the traditional political parties have raised the issues of the refugees in Lok Sabha. Every time the refugees have been exploited instead of addressing to their basic hardships. There fore Mr. Gandhi said that as a sufferer himself he has reason to the occasion to raise the issue of resettlement of refugees in the Lok Sabha if so voted and appealed the electorates to ensure his success in the Lok Sabha polls from Jammu Poonch Lok Sabha seat . Prominent among those who addressed the meeting include Sushil Gupta Advocate, Subash Verma, Chhaju Singh Manhas and Col Rtd. B S Chowdhary, Senior Vice President of Samajwadi Party.
