| Food, allied worker’s union hold demonstration | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 6: The food and allied worker’s union activities today went for three day strike to compel the government to meet their demands. On the first day of strike a massive protest rally was held throughout the state against the callous attitude of the government towards the genuine demands of the union. If the demands are not met, leader of union has threatened to go for an indefinite strike in case there demands are not fulfilled. Leaders of the Union have condemned the govt. for exploiting the poor laborers class for the last over five decades. The FCI worker’s Union has also extended the un-conditional support to the Union and has also suspended the food operation in the Depots of FCI throughout the State for CA & PD
