| Presiding officers provide training about functioning EVM | | | Early Times Report
Leh, April 5: Under the first phase of Election training to the employees of Leh district being deployed as presiding officers, one day training about functioning of Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) and its operation was conducted here yesterday.
The Deputy Commissioner, Leh Ajeet Kumar Sahu who is also the returning officer, for 4- Ladakh Parliamentary Constituency gave a digital presentation the important procedure, key functions of presiding officers, closing of polls etc. He strongly urged the presiding officers to follow the rules, procedure and guide lines of elections strictly to ensure free, fair and smooth elections.
Master Trainers, Thinless Dawa and Ayub gave practical training to the employees regarding operating and functioning of EVMs.
