| Public schools looting students; Dimple alleges | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 6- Strongly opposing the role of so-called public schools, having registration with CBSE, President Shiv Sena Hindustan Dimpy Kohli alleged that these schools were looting the students by charging higher fee and annual charges. He also said that even these schools were forcing the students to purchase text books through their only one approved book seller namely Sahitya Sangam, Kacchi Chawni. Dimple alleged that instead of giving any discount to the students the concerned bookseller was charging much higher rates than the printed price clearly indicating nexus between the school managements and the bookseller. The SS President also took the state administration to task for its criminal silence over the matter and charged it of its failure in controlling the mushroom growth of coaching centres, which, according to him, were charging huge fee from the students. He said if the students have to go these tutorials then what is need of wasting time by going to schools. He called for a comprehensive review of the entire system including the fee structure of the private institutions.
