| Thousands join Bhim’s campaign | | | Early Times Report Kathua, Apr 6- Thousands of electorates irrespective their party affiliation and party dictates, mostly the youth, joined the election campaign of Prof. Bhim Singh who is contesting Lok Sabha election from Udhampur-Doda-Kathua Constituency as Panthers Party candidate. The locally constituted Election Committees in different parts of the Tehsi organized highly impressive reception rallies with slogans like, ‘Sabko Dekha Baar Baar Bhim Singh Ab Ki Baar’. Addressing several rallies along with fire brand General Secretary Anita Thakur, Provincial President and former MLA, Faqir Nath, Provincial Secretary, Kuldip Sharma, District President, Ravinder Pathania, Prof Singh assured the people that he shall seek justice for those who have suffered because of the mine blasts or shelling from Pakistan-side. He promised that he shall fight for ST status to the people living in Bani Tehsil. Surprisingly, hundreds of National Conference leaders gave an unexpected and surprising welcome to Prof Singh and his team during his visit to Luang. Prof. Singh accused the Congress-NC government for deliberately ignoring the development of Bani-Sarthal-Bhaderwah road with an intention to keep Bani out of map of International Tourism. He pleaded strongly for ST status to all the residents of Bani and assured that if elected to the Parliament he shall bring this region on the map of International Tourism. He also addressed public meetings at Bani, Bhond, Basohli, Manpur and other areas.
