Jammu, Apr 06-Pradesh Youth Congress led by its president Mohammad Amin Bhat organized a massive rally in Jammu. Congress candidate Madan Lal Sharma for Jammu-Poonch parliamentary constituency flagged off the rally.
The rally started from Shaheedi Chowk Congress headquarter and passed through various parts of the city including Gumat, Ranbir Market, Parade, Kachi Chowni, Ambphalla, Janipur, Talab Tilloo, Jewel, Gandhi Nagar and culminated at Satwari Chowk.
Amin Bhat while addressing the rally appealed to the people of Jammu to vote in favour of Congress party for the unity and integrity of the country. He said that Congress is the only party which is custodian of the secularism and guarantees communal brotherhood and peace and progress. He said nation is safe under the able leadership of Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.
Bhat appealed the people to vote for Congress candidate Sharma and reject all those parties in this election who are dividing people on region, religion and caste lines.
Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion included Pawan Raina, Ravi Singh Salathia, Sanjay Sawhney, Rajinder Singh Pinky, Manjit Singh Jatt, Anoop Khajuria, Dalip Kashmiri(Pandita), Kapil Chib, Sonu Dogra, Tinu Khokhar, Pankaj Basotra, Varun, Bharat Priya, Viviek Gupta, Pankaj Chbbir, Sandeep Sandi, Neeraj Gupta, Bupinder Sharma, and Balwinder Jamwal.
