| Congress alone the savior of masses; says Yash Paul | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Apr 6- Former Minister and Vice President PCC Yash Paul Khajuria while campaigning for the party candidate Ch. Lal Singh who is seeking relection from Udhampur-Doda Parliamentary seat addressed several election meetings at Tikri, Mand and Udhampur today and appealed the electorate to make Lal Singh victorious with large margin of votes.
Khajuria said that Congress government at the centre alone can ensure faster development of Jammu and Kashmir state and people should appreciate the massive development in the state during the Congress led UPA government at the centre because of its liberal funding. He said that Dr. Manmohan Singh government gave a package of Rs. 24,000 crores for the state, besides liberal plan allocation for the state. A number of central projects in different sectors were sanctioned for the state for faster development and prosperity of the state.
Khajuria said that Congress can give a stable and secular government at the centre which will ensure unity and integrity of nation and its march forward in the community of nations as one of the growing economy of the world. He said that Ch Lal Singh has tirelessly worked for the welfare of people of his constituency and urged the electorates to reject the communal and opportunistic forces based on religion, region and castes which are dangerous for the social and secular fabric of the state
