| Congress leaders intensify campaigning for Madan Lal | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 6 -Various Congress leaders have launched a hectic campaign for the party nominee Madan Lal Sharma and are appealing the electorate to his in his favour. PCC Vice President Hari Singh addressing well attended public meetings at Kothe-Manhasan, Kothe-Brahmna, Nandpur-Camp and Korgla in Vijaypur assembly segment today said that state has witnessed a massive development during the past six years due to liberal funding and special package by the Congress led UPA government at the centre. He appealed to the people to vote for Congress and give UPA another chance to rule the country for ensuing all round development and peace in the country. Working President DCC Jammu Rural Darshan Raina while addressing series of election meetings at Sailar, Kullian, Brijnagar and Kharian in R.S.Pura tehsil highlighted the contribution of Madan Lal Sharma as MP, said that with his vigorous efforts the UPA government sanctioned a number of developmental projects for the state and specially for his constituency and provided liberal funds in order to complete the projects well in time. Raina appealed to the people to vote in favour of the Congress party and defeat the communal forces in the larger interest of the Country. Anil Chopra Secretary PCC organized a election meeting at Bakshinagar in Jammu city and appealed to the electorates to vote for the Congress party fort better development, peace, progress and prosperity of the state.
