Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 27: In a vibrant display of devotion and cultural richness, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS), in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production, presented its 474th Friday Series Musical Play, "SAI BABA," at Sai Baba Mandir, Talab Tillo, Jammu. The event, a Sai Bhajan Sandhya, was held to promote the traditional folk culture of Jammu & Kashmir. The ceremony was inaugurated with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the Chief Guest, Sh. Ganesh Ji, Head Pujari of Sai Baba Mandir, along with Pinky Soni and Aman Soni, Head Incharge of Sai Baba Mandir, Talab Tillo. Senior media person Mukesh Singh was also present as a Guest of Honor. The musical evening commenced with a series of devotional songs including "Jai Jai Sai Baba," "Shridi Wale Sai Baba," "Dewana Teri Aaya," and "Sai Baba Tum Hi Se Hai Sara Sansar." These performances set the tone for an evening dedicated to the revered figure of Sai Baba, whose teachings of peace, unity, and devotion transcend religious boundaries. In his address, Sh. Ganesh Ji emphasized the significance of Shirdi, the town associated with Sai Baba, as a secular space where all religions coexist harmoniously. He spoke about Sai Baba's message of faith, patience, and humanity, which has attracted millions of devotees from around the world. He also lauded BLSKS for its role in spreading social awareness through musical plays, highlighting the power of theatre and music in communicating important messages. Dr. M.L. Dogra, Chairman of BLSKS, shared insights into the life and teachings of Sai Baba, who is revered by both Hindu and Muslim communities. He emphasized the importance of surrendering to the true Satguru and the pursuit of self-realization. Dr. Dogra also praised the performances and the importance of such cultural initiatives in spreading messages of unity and spirituality. The musical play was written, produced, and directed by Dr. M.L. Dogra, with music assistance from Mr. Raju Bajgal. Performances were given by a talented group of artists, including K.K. Joshi, Chahat Chadha, Rajul Kumar, Bindia Okheda, and others, whose captivating performances resonated with the audience. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Master Deepak Kumar, who expressed gratitude to all attendees and participants for making the program a success. The musical performances were also recorded and uploaded on social media to reach a broader audience and raise awareness about Sai Baba's teachings.
