| 20,000 qtls food grains 56000 ltrs k-oil stocked in Gurez | | |
Srinagar, September 22 – Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Baramulla Mr. Hilal Ahmad during his visit to far flung Gurez Tehsil of Baramulla district inspected various development works at Budugam, Barmai, Dawar, Boglinder, Prana Tuleel and Buduab. He inspected progress on development of model village at Budugam, construction of CIC, Government Girls Higher Secondary School and lanes and drains at Dawar and also enquired about the problems being countenanced by the people there.
Later, chairing a meeting of officers at Dawar, the ADDC was apprised of the schemes under execution in Gurez tehsil. It was gives out that electricity is being provided to the people for 6 hours daily through D.G. sets.
Reviewing stock and supply position, the meeting was informed that 20,000 quintals of rice, atta and sugar and 56000 litres of k-oil have been stocked in various go-downs so far in the Tehsils for distribution among people. |
